Larry Johnson, his son, Kent Johnson, and grandson, Kodie Johnson, had lunch with Tom and Jewell Johnson one day last week. Bob and Janice Keith visited with Tom and Jewell, Saturday evening.
Tom and Jewell had Thanksgiving Dinner with Kent and Kim Johnson’s family, Thursday and then another big dinner with Larry and Shirley on Sunday. There was a lot of food and lots of people with all the grandchildren, great grandchildren, and those lively great-great grandchildren involved in those dinners.
Billy Fletcher took his Aunt Jean Daugherty to the home of her daughter, Barbara and Dennie Whitaker at Marshfield for Thanksgiving dinner, Thursday. Another of Jean’s daughters, Janet and Ray Davis of Lebanon, and Jean’s son, Wendell and Linda Daugherty from the Thornfield area made up the group.
Billy visited with his Uncle Howard McGill at the Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center, Sunday. Howard will be having a birthday on December 4 and the family is planning a card shower for that day.
Cliff and Debra Bohnstedt of Springfield, Tom Stillings and Joyce Greenwood of Ozark, Stanley Stillings of Squires and Alan Stillings of Ava had a Thanksgiving gathering with Norma Stillings and her son, Dan Stillings, Saturday afternoon. They had homemade pizza, salads, and desserts.
Norma Stillings visited at Rocky Ridge in Mansfield and Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center in Ava last week to play the piano and visit with residents.
Sam Frye returned home Monday after spending Thanksgiving week visiting his daughters, Nancy Hooten and Chris King, and their families in Texas. Sam said that it was an enjoyable time and that he thinks he gained weight. The whole trip went well with no problems at all.
