Every week, we ask area residents a question. The question may be serious, or it may be light-hearted. We will print the answers we receive here.
For this week’s questions we asked:
Do you buy your Christmas presents early, or do you wait until the last minute? Do you have a special shopping strategy?
I buy everything online, so I have to order early to beat the mailing dates. – Candy Shields
I get a lot of presents on Black Friday. Then I kind of pick things up; as I’m out and about. – Katherine Marrs
We also asked:
What are some local organizations that you know of that do good things for others during the holiday season?
There’s a couple of different churches that give groceries and stuff to needy families. – Dan Stillings
I know about the Kiwanis Christmas for Kids program, and I’m sure the food pantries all try to do something. – Jon Dodson
Next week’s question is: What was your favorite float at the Ava Christmas Parade? E-mail answers to whitney@douglascountyherald.com or call 417-683-4181.
