Praise God, isn’t He good to us? We trust you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends, food and fond memories. We did and there was so much to be thankful for.
This Sunday our morning message was about “Success”, how we see it and how God sees it. Our text was from the first chapter of Jeremiah, and Jeremiah the prophet our model of success. Man might see him as a failure, he never attained riches, he was thrown into a cistern for a time, imprisoned, and even taken into a far country, not his own. His congregation either ignored or rejected him; yet he faithfully delivered the message God instructed him to give.
In God’s estimation of him, he was obedient and faithful, that is success.
Our evening message was, “Bought With A Price,” our text in I Corinthians 6:19-20. We are all bought and paid for by the precious blood of Christ.
Sunday afternoon we practiced the songs for our Christmas production, if you would like to come and be a part, we’ll find a place for you.
