We continue to pray for the many needs of our church, the community and the nation, at this time of the year it seems there are so many more. We are truly thankful for our blessings and to be citizens of a free country.
We continue to practice on our Christmas program each Wednesday evening at 7 p.m.
Our Christmas dinner will be Dec. 12, and the program will be Dec. 17, 7 p.m.
We will be taking away the food barrel, so if you have donations, please bring them right away.
Mae Cox reports Ryan Pruiett was able to go home and also, Mary Cox is out of the hospital and at home with Randy and Kathy Barnes, good news all around.
Bessie Hall, Tom and Jewell Elliott, Lisa Johnson and Jesse, Tim Hall, Malissa and her three boys, and Travis were all guests of J.C. Hall and Vicky Burnett Thanksgiving day.
Those coming to see Bessie Hall over the holiday were Al and Marge Himmelsbach, Ashley Elliott, Jewell Elliott, Lisa Johnson and Jesse. Bessie kept a doctor’s appointment Monday, where she got a good report.
Tom Elliott has been dealing with an ankle injury, making a trip to emergency Saturday night.
Tom and Jewell Elliott had the following family for Thanksgiving on Saturday: Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Elliott and Caitlin, Joseph and Amanda Elliott, Mr. and Mrs. James Elliott and Ashley, Mr. and Mrs. Shaun Elliott, MaKayla and Logan, and Bessie Hall. Visitors at different times over the holiday were Sharon Jones, J.C. Hall and Vicky Burnett, Kay Hutchison, Albert and Doris Elliott.
Kay Hutchison visited John and Jo Stephens, Monday evening.
Martin and Mary Ann Hathcock had their annual family gathering at their home for Thanksgiving with the following family members: Jan Jones and Stephie, Josiah and Amy Stephens, Alex, Jacob and Lucas, Eleazar and Ronda Soto, Wes and Pat Smith and Charlee, Shawn and Jessica Glossip, Zoe and Zane, Stephen and Jennifer Potter, Emma and Weston Paul, Jim and Jo Hathcock, Josh and Liz Lafferty, Joy and Tristan Jack, Brandon and Summar Hathcock, Breeana and Dakota. On Saturday, Ed and Kathy Koca, daughter, Lara, and grandson, Ethan, came from Greenfield to spend the day.
Harold and Kay Hutchison enjoyed the following guests at different times from Thursday until Sunday evening: Mr. and Mrs. Danny Clements, Dylan and Morgan, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Mishler, Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Tackett and Steven, Mr. and Mrs. Harlin Hutchison, Alic and Amy.
Kay Hutchison visited Norman Duckworth last Wednesday, and found him to be doing better, we miss him at Mt. Tabor.
