We had congregational singing followed by many prayer requests for safety, for the bereaved, those very ill, some of our grandchildren, and several of our own group still having health problems. We pray especially for the unsaved in our communities. We are thankful for all the blessings we are allowed from our Lord.
Brother Dennis read Genesis 4, speaking about Cain and Abel, and the respect God showed for the offering.
We enjoyed having Brother Robert Grisham and Sister Dorothy in the evening service for a good message and great music. We pray God will continue to restore their health.

Gideon’s will be here Dec. 5, our Thanks/Christmas Dinner will be Dec. 12, and the Christmas program will be Dec. 17. Continue to bring food for the donation barrel.
Mae Cox’s family enjoyed an early Thanksgiving meal in her home Sunday. Those there were Tom and Donna Nichols, Lisa Johnson and Jesse and Tim Hall. They missed those unable to be with them.
Mae reports, brother Cletis, to not be doing as well, however, brother, Thetis, is still gaining. Mae also spoke to her other sisters and brother on the weekend.
Visiting with Bessie Hall this week was Jewell Elliott, Lisa Johnson and Jesse and Tim Hall. Bessie and Judy Haden attended Chitter Chatters at the Hay Loft in Mtn. Grove, last Wednesday.
Martin and Mary Ann Hathcock attended a celebration in the home of Jim and Jo Hathcock, honoring their son-in-law, Josh Lafferty, on his 21st birthday, Saturday. Also attending were Josh’s wife, Liz, and their children and Jo’s parents, Jack and Peggy Armstrong.
Ronda Soto and Pat Smith came to Martin and Mary Ann Hathcock’s Sunday, helping them get everything in order for their annual family Thanksgiving get-together.
Paul Cox and friend, Randy Bennett, Mansfield, came by Myrl Cox’s Sunday with some nice fish to show. Norma Bogart, daughter, Gayla, and Mrs. Mike Hampton came by to bring a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner, as well as take a look at the fish. Melanie Gray visited awhile with Myrl, also.
Albert and Doris Elliott visited Tom and Jewell Elliott one evening this week. Shaun, LeAnna and their children visited the Elliotts Saturday evening.
Harlin and Shirley Hutchison, Alic and Amy, spent Saturday night and Sunday with Harold and Kay Hutchison. Morgan Clements spent Friday night and Saturday with his grandparents.
