Hello from our home to your home. Christmas has arrived with the hustle and bustle of the season. Trees are being put up, decorations are out and residents enjoyed the hot chocolate and cookies.
Christmas music was playing and everyone was having a jolly, holly good time. It was nice seeing everyone get in the season spirit.
Sandy Church ministered to the residents Sunday the 21st and Life Church ministered on the 28th.
Monday afternoon we enjoyed a piano recital given by the students of Morgan Long. The students brought cookies to share with
the residents.
Tuesday afternoon it was time for our Annual Thanksgiving Dinner with family, friends and loved ones. The Dietary Department put out a good feast. We fed over 250 people. The visiting is really a great time for families to get to know each other. We appreciate the VFW for the use of the tables and chairs. A special appreciation to Colleen Lakey and Ruth Evans for helping dietary.
The Heritage Singers put on a Thanksgiving Concert Friday morning. They are awesome.
We appreciate all of the churches and our volunteers who give their time all year round for our home.
We would like to welcome new residents to our home: Janice Grooms, Eddie Turner, Larry Peak, Jr., Lena Carline.
