There is a little chill in the air this morning, but a good day in all. Bro. Paul filled in for Bro. Marshall. He opened Sunday school with a big hello. We had prayer requests and prayer. We had a song and our Sunday school leader, Sister Naomi, read from Acts, chapter 3. We had some class discussion. Next week we will continue into Acts, chapter 4. Our little angel took up our Coins For Christ. Good job, little one.
It was time to sing for the Lord. The choir was small, but in good voice. We had more prayer requests and prayer. We had some special music and then Bro. Paul read scripture from Philippians 4:4-9. He gave us a great message from the Lord. We closed with a song of invitation and dismissed with prayer.
Our evening service began with our prayer circle. Many prayer requests were made. Bro. Norman gave the prayer. We sang for the Lord and had specials from Sister Peggy and Sister Juanita. Bro. Paul read scripture from Daniel, chapter 6:1-23. Bro. Paul gave us a good message from God. We had testimonies and then closed in prayer led by Sister Mary.
We will not be having our fourth Saturday night singing in November and December due to the holidays, so we hope weather permitting we will see you on Saturday night, January 22 at 7 p.m. Bring your songs and instruments and join us for some good fellowship.
