The weather seems to be showing signs that winter is on the way, but the sun is out and that always helps. We had a small group for Sunday school, but when God is there it doesn’t matter. Bro. Paul (filling in for Bro. Marshall) greeted us all with a big hello. We had prayer requests and Sister Ulla led in prayer. We had a song and then went to our classes. We are studying in the book of Acts, chapter 4. We read through verses 23 through 37 and continued into chapter 5:1-11. It was a good lesson and we had a lot of class input.
Our morning service began with singing praises to the Lord. The choir was small, but in good voice. We had specials from Sister Peggy and Sister Juanita. We took up our gifts to God and Sister Lee led in prayer.
Bro. Paul read from Jeremiah chapter 6, verses 10 through 19. God gave him a good message for us. We closed with a song and dismissed with prayer by Sister Peggy.
Our evening service began with our prayer circle. Prayer requests were given and everyone prayed in their own way. We had a song service and sang some beautiful hymns. Bro. Paul prayed before we had our specials. Sister Patsy gave us a piano solo, which we always enjoy. We then had specials from Sister Ulla, Sister Peggy and Sister Juanita.
Bro. Paul read scripture from Genesis, chapter 18:16-28 and Genesis 19:1-7, a good message followed. We had several testimonies. We closed with prayer from Sister Patsy.
