Opening prayer to start our Sunday morning service was given by our superintendent, Doug Miller.
Our Sunday school lesson was on “Receiving Comfort And Strength”. The prophet Isaiah encouraged the people to invite God back in their nation and lives. Sin often causes hardship and pain. God offers us comfort and strength.

Pastor Riley Hall brought his message from Matthew 6:25 and Luke 2:8-20. We need to put Christ in the proper place in our lives. God is in charge. We need to be ready for whatever God calls us to do and don’t look back. Be like Joseph and Mary, believe in God, no matter what the consequences and leave tomorrow to God.
A good crowd attended our wild game Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner Saturday night with good food and fellowship.

Bro. Riley’s sermon was taken from John 6:1-71 for Sunday evening service. Jesus said this is the will of Him that sent me, and believeth on me, may have everlasting life and I will raise them up in the last days.
There are eight types of people in the chapter, curious, followers, greedy, onlookers, murmurers, scoffers, backsliders and believers. May we be a light before people and follow in the ways of our Lord Jesus Christ.
