Hello everyone. I hope you are all looking forward to a Thanksgiving feast with family and friends. It’s truly a time to remember all we have to be thankful for and we do have lots of wonderful blessings when we stop long enough to start counting our blessings.
Here around the mountain we are truly being blessed, two weeks ago was our baptizing down at the creek the old fashioned way. It was wonderful.
This past week we had the privilege of being part of the “tag a preacher revival. They were at our church Friday and Saturday night and God was there with us. Several preachers tagged in and out and all had a good message.
Sunday night was our Thanksgiving dinner. We had a church house full. We ate and fellowshipped and then had a great testimony service.
I appreciate all the ladies for all their hard work in the kitchen and tell Mattie this church looked great.
Francis said she and Bud are expecting all their family in for Thanksgiving dinner. She is a wonderful lady and has lots of grandkids that love her dearly.
Miss Alice is doing her missionary crusade, a work that God has blessed her in and she is very good at doing it.
Alice is still having some pain from her knee surgery so still remember her in your prayers.
Roger and I are having some family in for Thanksgiving and I am going to go have Thanksgiving dinner with my mom and Bob and Angie. Oh it is a busy time of year, but never too busy to make time for God because He is with us always.
Just remember to reach up, He is always there.
Happy Thanksgiving!
