We didn’t have Bible study on Wednesday night, due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
Thanksgiving guests in the home of Pastor Gary and Bevy Thursday were Clint Moore, Connie Holloway and Wanda Cox, Jerry and Lana Heard, Randy and Tabitha Burton, Raylee Grace and Caydee.
Raylee Grace and Caydee stayed until Sunday afternoon with their Grandma Bevy and Papa Gary.
Saturday afternoon Grandma Bevy Moore took Raylee Grace and Caydee Burton to see Great Grandma Margaret and Papa Delmar. They made homemade peanut butter cookies while they were there. They also visited Great-Great Grandma Nora and Papa Lee while they were there.
Sunday we had 43 in attendance. Norma Jones opened the service with reading Psalms 96:1-13. Then Linda Roberts led the Sunday school class with studying Jeremiah 30:1-17.
Birthday this week was Donna Applequist. Anniversary was Wayne and Donna Applequist.
Special singing was by Miss Caydee Burton, Pastor Gary and Bevy, and Linda Roberts.
Pastor Gary brought the message about “Two Sinner Men”, using Luke 18:10-14.
Sunday afternoon Bevy Moore and Delmar and Margaret Rosseau took Raylee Grace and Caydee to their home in Marshfield.
Sunday evening special singing was by Connie Holloway and Wanda Cox. Pastor Gary brought the evening message about “What Good are the Spiritual Gifts”, using 1 Cor. 12:1-11. We are in a Spiritual warfare.
Special prayer requests go out to Nita Holt (hospital), Betty Hale’s daughter Pam, Stormy Dodson (hospital), Richard Shahay, Bill Bolding, Noble Lakey, Wayne and Donna Applequist’s daughters Lori and Lisa, Kenneth Lee and Jimmy Lee, military and families, Loretta Ellis, and Sis. Marie Long (nursing home).
Our church is located at the corner of NW 6 Ave. and 7th St. Service times are Sunday 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and Wed. night Bible Study at 7:00 p.m. Everyone’s welcome.
