Wednesday evening Bible Study was led by Steve Wilkerson, on “Confessional Prayer” using scriptures – Romans 10:9-10; Philippians 2:9-11; Psalms 51:2, Samuel 12:1-15; and Proverbs 28:13.
Teen class was led by Pastor Gary and Bevy Moore, on “Study To Show Thyself Approved” using scriptures II Timothy 2:14-26.
Friday evening Pastor Gary and Bevy visited and had supper with parents, Delmar and Margaret Rosseau.
Saturday, Bevy Moore had lunch at her grandparents, Lee and Nora Hunsaker-Williams, then spent the rest of the day with her Mom, Margaret Rosseau, and sister, Becky Carter. They went to Springfield and ate supper and shopped.
Sunday morning we had 36 in attendance. Norma Jones opened the service with Psalms 100 and Revelation 7:9-17. Linda Roberts led the Sunday school class with Jeremiah 29:1-32.
Special singing was by Bill Bolding. Pastor Gary brought the morning message about “Being A Witness For Jesus Christ” and “Filling The Void With The Holy Spirit” using scriptures Exodus 19:6 and I Peter 2:9. We had one soul saved in the morning service. Praise the Lord!
We had our Thanksgiving Dinner after service.
Pastor Gary and Bevy visited with his mom, Wanda Moore for a while, she wasn’t feeling well.
Sunday evening was our third Sunday singing and testimony service. Special singers were Norma Jones, Betty Hale, Bevy Moore, Wanda Cox, Connie Holloway, Bernie and Lena Hutchison and Linda Roberts.
Monday afternoon Bevy spent the afternoon with her dad, Eldon Bice, singing and playing the guitar and piano. Pastor Gary visited with his mom, Wanda Moore at the nursing home. She was doing better.
There will not be service this Wednesday night, Nov. 24th.
Special prayer requests go out this week for Naomi Watkins, Noble Lakey, Jimmy Lee, Kenneth Lee, Sister Marie Long, Wanda Moore, Donna Bannister, Howard McGill, Bro. Marvin Graham, our military, holiday travelers, Nita Holt, and Grace Irby.
Our church is located at the corner of NW 6th Ave. and 7th St. Services are Sundays 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Wed. Bible Study at 7:00 p.m. Everyone welcome.
