We have beautiful sunshine this Monday, but the frost is still on the rooftops at mid-day. We have no wind, but it’s just plain cold and will stay with us for a while.
Sunday services were special because Pastor Don was back for both services. His message was from Isaiah 9:6; The Prince of Peace, Wonderful Counselor and his evening service was on The Last Supper.
Saturday was a happy time for the Forerunners Christmas Banquet and a fun time program. It is okay for us old folks to have fun and we did.
The Cunningham’s had an enjoyable day as Oscar took care of the pulpit for the pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Gainesville, MO. While eating out they met so many friends that used to attend the revivals Oscar preached over the years.
Louise Wood had a bad fall recently and has now found herself in a wheel chair and on crutches. She is very much missed at Seminole.
Betty Chapman is in St. John’s Hospital having major surgery Friday. As of Sunday she was not up to having visitors and will be there for two to three weeks as Dan was telling me Sunday night at church.
As of now, PVT. Clifton Andrews lock down is lifted from South Korea, so far so good.
I had a long Thanksgiving phone call from my sister, Geneva, in Wasco, Oregon. All there is well and they had five inches of snow and cold winds.
