“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free,” John 8:32.
And what is the truth? Jesus is the Son of God who freely gave His life on the cross that you and I could have eternal life in heaven.
We were thankful to have Brother Roy Simmons and wife, Dora, with us on Sunday. He preached from II Thess. 2:5-13, on truth. He also shared a poem Sunday evening.
Brother Roy Frye read Ephesians 2:11-22 for our devotion after we all sang. Brother Kerry took up the tithes and offerings and Austin and Sara Maggard did the penny march for Camp Piland.
Kerry and Dana Lafferty sang in the evening worship. Sister Joann Pond played the piano for them. We were happy to have her and Charlie visit to worship with us.
Continue to pray for Betty and her family, Joe Lafferty, Wanda Goss, unsaved, unspoken, bereaved, other churches, country, leaders and military.
We practiced our Christmas program after church. Everyone is welcome to join us Sunday, December 12th. Sunday school is at 10:00, church worship at 11:00, dinner at 12:00 and our program at 2:00. No services that evening. Wednesday night Bible study is at 6:00. May God bless you always.
