LEGAL NOTICE
Notice is hereby given to the quali-fied voters of the Ava R-I School Dis-trict of Ava, MO that three members will be elected to the Board of Educa-tion for a term of three years each at the April 5, 2011 election. The opening date for candidates to file for these positions is December 14, 2010, 8:00 a.m. Candidates may file during regular business hours, 8:00-4:30 p.m. at the district administration office located at 507 NE 3rd Street. The closing date for filing is January 18, 2011, 5:00 p.m. The office will be closed December 20 through January 3 for the Christmas holidays and may be closed at other times due to inclement weather. Candi-dates must be at least 24 years of age, a citizen of the United States, a resident taxpayer of the district, and will have resided in Missouri for a minimum of one year preceding the election.
