There were some folks that didn’t get to have Thanksgiving dinner where they had planned because of the weather.
Bonnie Phipps and Cecilia Edwards ate Thanksgiving dinner with Michael and Wendee Freeman and family and they ate deer meat that Cody had killed and everyone enjoyed it then Roy and Linda Sue came over later and visited with them. Bonnie Phipps went to church Sunday.
Mac Mitchell came over last Monday and put me in a new thermostat and I turned my heat on.
Last Tuesday I received five-tenths of an inch in my rain gage and Wednesday I received seven-tenths of an inch in my rain gage and Thursday I had two and a half inches and it snowed and sleeted that day too.
Mark and Mark Weston came over and took me over to Dwayne and Lora Kay Davis’s where I ate Thanksgiving dinner with them and Mark, Sherry, Kelsey and Mark Weston then Mark and Sherry brought me home and they had a television in the back of Sherry’s car. It was my Christmas present and it was a bigger screen than I had. There was snow on the hood and the back of my car that night.
Lakota came Saturday before noon and stayed until Kristie came and picked her up.
Mike Bock, Charlotte Bock, Marie Dickey and Carol Moore all went to Gainesville Saturday at noon to their O.E.S. Installation of Officers. I didn’t feel like going and that evening I made a trip to the emergency room at Cox South and didn’t get home until 2:40 Sunday morning.
Lets keep praying for all our sick folks. If I would start to name all them I could not stop because the list goes on and on.
Our prayers and sympathy goes out to all who have lost a loved one.
Lets keep our nation and our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.
