Bonnie Phipps said she was doing okay and that she went to church Sunday.
Carol Moore came by last Monday evening and picked me up and we went over and got Marie Dickey and we all went to our O.E.S. meeting here in Ava.
Tom and Mary Martha Williams, Marie Dickey, Carol Moore and Hellen Blakey all went to Houston last Tuesday evening to their O.E.S. Installation of Officers for the coming year.
Vernal called me and said that I wouldn’t be having any hunters at my house. I got the two back bedrooms cleaned up, ready for them to stay so I guess I am just glad they are clean.
Thursday I had three-tenths of an inch of rain.
Friday when I was in town I picked up some medicine and then I went over to Max and Mona Decker’s and visited with them and before I went home I dropped by Marie Dickey’s and visited with her.
Mike Bock, Charlotte Bock, Marie Dickey, Carol Moore, Doris Morrison and Hellen Blakey went to West Plains Saturday to their O.E.S. Installation of Officers for the coming year. We went early and ate dinner before going over to the lodge hall at 2:00 p.m.
Kelsey brought me some eggs Sunday morning. Pastor Dennis Shumate preached for us Sunday morning and then Bro. Robert Grisham preached that night. It was good to hear Bro. Grisham bring the message again.
Monica called me and said Joel had lost his stepmother on the 13th and then Wednesday night at 8 p.m. they called Joel and said that they were going to have Tinna Reemes funeral at ten o’clock Thursday morning and so Joel and Monica would have had to borrow a car to go to Calhoun City, MS. so they didn’t get to go.
Lets keep the sick folks in our prayers, some are doing okay, but others have a little ways to go.
My sympathy and prayers go out to all who have lost a loved one.
