Rubie Evans, 60, of Star City, Ark., died Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born July 1, 1950 in Douglas County, Mo., to the late William Arthur and Mary Cunningham Hall. She worked for Arkansas Department of Corrections for 21 years.
Survivors include one son, Ronnie Evans of Squires; three daughters, Tammy Jo Studyvin of Alpina, Ark., Shamae Stain of Star City, Ark., and Angelia Nicole Evans of Monticello, Ark.; two brothers, Ed Hall of Ava, and Leonard Hall, of Squires; and nine grandchildren.
Visitation was held Friday at Griffin Funeral Chapel in Star City. Graveside services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hall Cemetery near Ava, with Bro. John Haskins officiating. Visitation was 9-10 a.m. Monday at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Ava.
