I am thankful for veterans like my grandpa, Louin Fry, who served in World War I in France; my uncle, Virgil Fry, who served in the Korean War; my brother, Wilford Clayton, who was in the army in the 60’s; my cousin, Louin Clayton who served in the Vietnam War and my cousin, Edward Charles Johnston, who was killed in the Vietnam War.
I picked the last two tomatoes and the last rose and just in time as we had heavy frost Sunday morning. I hope the frost helps the deer hunters.
Monday, Gary and I went to Ava and visited his mother, Maxine Turner.
Thursday evening, I went to Ralph and Dana Brazeal’s home. Zamber Satterfield and children, Wyatt and Liviya Wharton were there.
Gary visited Saturday with Rayford and Freda Clayton at Theodosia.
A lot of people are sick and we had a few out from church were I go in Theodosia. The pastor, Charles McFarland at Oak Grove Church has walking pneumonia. I pray better health for them.
Happy birthday to Kasey Medlock on Sunday the 21st. He will be four years old.
On my way to church Sunday night I stopped in on Kenerd and Norma Lawrence. They were doing fine.
Eddie Sears spent the weekend in the Kansas City area hunting with family.
