This week we had fifteen people weigh in, with a total weight-loss of twenty and 1/4 lbs. Two people stayed the same weight. Ulla was high-loser.
Heather received a charm for walking 100 miles. Evelyn W. received $10.00 for being high-loser for the month of October. Congratulations to these ladies!
Sharon gave a report about the Fall T.O.P.S. Rally held in Springfield on Saturday, November 6th. Our chapter received a longevity award certificate of recognition at the rally for being a T.O.P.S. chapter for thirty-five years. Rachel was recognized at the rally, receiving a “gold” medal for the top weight-loss in her age group in the whole Ozarks area during the months of June, July and August. Congratulations, Rachel!
Sharon presented the program, reading a skit that was written and performed at the Fall Rally by T.O.P.S. #1125 Lebanon entitled, “Tantalizing Temptation”. It was very entertaining, and something those of us who are endeavoring to live a healthy lifestyle can identify with on a daily basis.
T.O.P.S. (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) is an international weight-loss support group open to anyone seven years of age or older. The #0720 chapter meets every Tuesday afternoon in the courthouse basement. Weigh-in is held from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Come visit us and sit in on a meeting if you would like to find out more about T.O.P.S. We welcome anyone looking to get and stay healthy.
