A good Tuesday morning to all our readers. We hope everyone had a great weekend. I had a lot of frost on the pumpkin Sunday morning in the bottom at the farm.
I’m sure it was nice and crisp for the deer hunters, but still no rain in sight.
On Thursday of last week we had our Thanksgiving dinner here in the village. We had 22 residents that attended along with seven guests along with several carry outs. We want to give our special appreciation to the ladies from Ava Place for the chicken and dumplings that they brought for us to enjoy. Our hats are off to them and we appreciate each one that made our dinner a great one.

No news turned in this week so here I am out on a limb again. The ladies are meeting on Wednesday afternoons to play dominoes at 3:00. Come join them and learn to play Mexican Train. Also we have our daily devotion at 11:00 a.m. Monday through Saturday. Come join us and study the word of God. We gather in the activity room by the office. Just stop by and see what is going on. On Tuesdays and Thursdays there is an exercise class at 3 p.m. It lasts about an hour. Check our bulletin board for upcoming events as we try to post them there. I’ll sign off for now.
