New Hope Freewill Baptist Church

Wednesday night Bible study seems to be growing and we feel very blessed for that. For a few months there were only three adults coming, but this Wednesday we had nine people attend. We went over not forsaking the assembling together for worship, why some neglect worship and why as the day draws nearer we should assemble together more and the significance of assembling together. We also went over not fashioning ourselves according to this world. We are here to serve God, not the world. We had a good study together.
Saturday we also had a joyous celebration – a wedding! Lyndon Ludwig and I were joined together in Holy Matrimony in our precious church. We were very blessed with 84 friends and loved ones joining with us to witness the foundation of our marriage being built on God in His house. We appreciate everyone who shared that day with us!
Sunday morning we were low in numbers, only 10 attended, but big on spirit. We started out with prayer requests and then started Sunday school. We picked up where we left off last week at Matthew 8:15. After Sunday school the kids had their penny march and we took up morning offerings and sang praises to the Lord. Bro. Scott delivered a wonderful message from the gospel of Mark 6:1-6 titled “Rejection”.
During evening service we had 16 in attendance. We started out with prayer requests and sang some hymns. The evening message was from the book of Matthew, chapter 25 “The Wise and Foolish Virgins!”
We’d like to welcome all who are hungry for the word to join us for services, Wednesday night Bible study and discussion starts at 7:00 p.m., Sunday school at 10 a.m. and Sunday morning worship at 11 a.m. and evening services at 7 p.m.
