Wednesday evening Bible study was led by Steve Wilkerson, continuing the study on “Thanksgiving Prayer.” He used scriptures, Luke 17:11-19, Daniel 6, II Corinthians 9:10-15, Mark 8:6-9, Psalms 116:1-19 and Rev. 7:9-17.
Sunday morning we had 33 in attendance. Linda Roberts taught the Sunday school lesson out of Jeremiah 27 and 28. Special singing was by Bevy Moore, Emma Wilkerson, and Connie Holloway. Pastor Gary brought the morning message about “You’ve got to be willing to go!” He used scriptures, Numbers 13:26-33, 14:12, and Philippians 4:13.
Sunday evening a wonderful healing testimony was given by Bro. Leon Hopper. Special singing was by Bill Bolding and Betty Hale. Bevy read a cute little child’s view of the entire Bible. Pastor Gary brought the evening message about “The Great I Am.” scriptures used were John 6:35; 8:12; 10:9, 11, 14; 11:25; 14:6; and 15:1-5.
Special prayer requests go out for Chris Hammett, Donald Downs, Danny Yeary, Louis Matney family, Logan Brown, James Cornelison, Kenneth Lee, Linda Donley, Joe Breshears family, Sis. Marie Long, and Pastor Gary Moore.
Our church is located at the corner of NW 6th Ave. and 7th St. Service times are Sundays 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and Wed. Bible Study at 7:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Next Sunday will be our Thanksgiving Dinner and Singing.
