Students at Ava Victory Academy recently competed at the ACSI College Preparatory Championships at Southwest Baptist University on Nov. 18-19.

For the third year in a row, Ava Victory Academy received first place in the Small School Division of the ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) College Preparatory Championships held at Southwest Baptist University on Nov. 18-19.

Junior Emily Tredway received second place in the physical science competition for Ava Victory Academy at the ACSI College Preparatory Championships.

Junior Nike Walker (far right) took first place and senior Kendra Young (far left) took fourth place for Ava Victory Academy in the English competition at the ACSI competitions.

Lee Schmidt (right) and Tyler LeClear of Ava Victory Academy took third and second place, respectively, at the Association of Christian Schools International College Preparatory Championships in earth science.

A group of Ava Victory Academy students received third place in the robotics maze competition at the ACSI College Preparatory Championships at Southwest Baptist University on Nov. 18-19. The students had a little over one month to program the robots to navigate a maze using the robot’s sensors. The third place team included, from left: freshman Seth Dobbs, senior Tyler LeClear and junior Nike Walker.
