We were thankful for our visitors as we began our services. Some were absent due to the bug going around. Prayer concerns were for Harold Menzies, Sonya Hodges, Rick Crum, the family of Bob Gerdes, Randy Dalton in revival this week in Moberly, Missouri, our nation, leaders and troops. Brad Siler led us in this prayer.
A thank you card was read from Neal and LeaAnn. Pastor Neal said thank you for appreciating us. Keep on praying, reaching out and encouraging each other. Let us be in our place in the body of Christ. He said thank you for fighting the fire at our house. He read from Revelations 22, Acts 20 and John 17. Several testimonies of salvation were shared.
Happy birthday was sung to Andrew Dalton, who will be seven. He is the oldest child of Aaron and Melissa Dalton, who are both teachers in the Gainesville Schools. Thank God for Christian teachers. We need them.
Food Harvest items were collected and delivered to the Heart of the Hills Food Harvest and Thrift Store.
Items will be collected for Faith Home in Honduras to be taken to Poplar Bluff this week.
At 6 p.m., we began with prayer followed by singing. Some testimonies were shared. Pastor Neal read from St. John 3.
We will have our annual deer hunter’s pie and chili dinner at the church. All donations will go to our mission fund.
Next Sunday, will be backpack items collected for Plainview School.
Each Tuesday at 7 p.m. is our special prayer meeting and each Wednesday is Bible Study.
November 18th at 7 p.m., the Cooley’s will be singing at our church.
