We had a blessed week. Some of us were able to go to Happy Home Church throughout the week to revival. The evangelist had a good message to bring. It is a privilege to go and worship our Father with others as often as possible.
During Wednesday night Bible study we finished out the commandments. We had a good study and lesson over the commandments.
Sunday we turned our clock backwards for daylight savings. I’m sure most would agree that they enjoyed an extra hour of sleep. We had 13 people attend morning service. We started out with prayer requests and sang a couple of songs and then dismissed to Sunday school. The children’s Sunday school learned about manna and the adults are still studying the book of Matthew this week. We were in chapters 8 and 9.
After Sunday school the children sang a couple of songs and did their penny march. We took up the morning offering and then joined together singing praises to the Lord. Bro. Scott delivered the message from the book of Joel 2:28 titled “God Pours Out His Spirit.”
After the message we had song of invitation and then had our closing prayer.
During evening service we had 13 in attendance. We started out with prayer requests and altar prayer, and then sang a few songs. The evening message was delivered by Bro. Scott from I Thess. 5:1-22, “Living Holy.”
We’d like to welcome all to come visit us for services. Wednesday night Bible study starts at 7:00 p.m., Sunday school starts at 10:00 a.m., morning worship starts at 11:00 a.m. and evening worship at 7:00 p.m.
