Church started Sunday morning with prayer by Sister Lena Ingram. We sang. Ronnie Epps took over as superintendent and prayer was given by Sister Vera Dixon.
The Sunday school lesson was A Glimmer of Hope Dashed, from II Kings 9:1-6, 15 and 25-28 taught by Ronnie Epps. We sang several songs. Bro. James Moore brought the message. We were dismissed by Sister Elsie Atchison.
Church started Sunday night with Bro. Raymond Haden reading a poem. We sang several songs. Special music was performed by Lena Ingram and Elsie Atchison. Bro. Raymond Haden brought the message. He prayed then read Psalms 110:3, II Timothy 1:7, Acts 1:8, John 14:12, II Corinthians 8:12 and Isaiah 1:19-20. We then sang.
Wednesday visitors of Elsie Atchison were Lena and Peyton Ingram.
Saturday visitors of Elsie were Lena Ingram, Carol Allen and Noel Atchison.
Visiting Elsie on Sunday were Noel and Donna Atchison, Lena Ingram, Bridgett Irby, Eddie Horn and Brad.
Monday Lena Ingram took her mother, Elsie Atchison, to the doctor in Springfield.
Saturday Noel Atchison took Elsie to the funeral of her sister, Bertha McIntosh in Springfield.
Sunday, November 14 Bro. Ronnie Epps will be giving his presentation of The Cross at Friendship Church at 6 p.m.
Also we will be having birthday and anniversary celebration dinner after Ronnie’s presentation. Everyone welcome.
