Bryant Height News

The sun has refused to shine this Monday morning and outside is chilly. I have used my fireplace logs during the morning and night, as I need too. It seems to me the squirrels are more plentiful this year. They run the fence and jump from tree to tree.
By the time you read this the elections will be over and I hope we will have a good clean vote without a lot of fraud this time, but that is wishing upon a star. Well, you know as I have heard it said, they hold elections in November because it’s the best time for picking out a turkey.
It was a wonderful day to be in church service Sunday morning. Pastor Don’s message was from James 5:12-20 Pressure Filled Life, 16: The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availed much. Pastor Don and Becky will be in Texas Wednesday for two weeks or longer. Their one and only son, Brian, will be in major surgery Wednesday at a Dallas hospital. Seminole Church will be much in prayer for our family.
Trunk or treat for the children went over big Sunday night at Seminole. Here at my home I treated ten or more.
I was happy to greet Oscar and Gladys back to Sunday morning church. Gladys reports they had a precious time in the Bentonville, Arkansas Revival. They met new brothers and sisters in Christ. The church is praying for a pastor as their pastor just got called to Heaven. The Lord will bless the people who were left with several decisions.
During Sunday morning church I got to see Betty Chapman. She reports her brother, Jerry Hall, is doing well at this time.
Happiness is meant to be shared.
