Our key verse, “O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee; my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is,” Psalms 163:1.
Brother Roy read Psalm 3:1-6 for the devotion after Sister Shirley led the singing with Brother Kerry playing the piano. Pastor David prayed for the prayer request then Roy dismissed us to class.
The children studied James this week. Brother Kerry took up the offering and Hunter Adams and little Sebastian took up the pennies for Camp Piland.
Specials were done by Hunter Adams and Pastor David.
Pastor David preached from Ephesians 6:10-18. We are in a constant battle with Satan and the only way to win is through the power of God. That power can protect us from the tricks Satan pulls on Christians. We must read the word and apply it to our lives. Sin is serious and God doesn’t think it is funny. It was a very good message.
Our prayer requests include Eva Woods, Linda Donley, Brady Bennett and family, Louise, Betty, Rheba Pool, unspoken, churches, country, leaders, military and the bereaved.
Sunday evening, Pastor David preached from Psalms 100:1-5. Are we serving, the Lord with gladness or by complaining about every thing we do. He deserves for us to worship Him daily for He is the one and only true living God. It was another good message.
Specials were by Kerry and Dana Lafferty and by Pastor David. We had good testimonies.
We were thankful for our visitors, but missed those who were gone.
We are getting ready to start our Christmas Play practices on Wednesday at 6:00. We also have Bible study at that time.
Pastor David and I appreciate everyone for making Pastor Appreciation Month so nice for us. We love and appreciate each of you. May God bless you always.
