Mt. Tabor Church

Mt. Tabor Church began with singing and  prayer requests for our church families, the bereaved, many that are still not well and thankfulness for the prayers answered. Glad to have Justin and Ryan as our visitors.

Gary Mishler spoke Sunday evening about their work in the church in OK. with the youth program and also sang a special for us.
We sang Happy Birthday to Justin Williams Sunday morning.
Lutie True Hope Church will be hosting the 5th Sunday meeting this month.
Sister Maxine Lund will be our speaker in the morning service, Sunday, October 31.
Mae Cox reported Johnny and Pauline Pruiett’s grandson, Ryan, is recovering following an auto accident in Illinois.
Mae’s visitors were Donna Nicols and Lisa Johnson.
Blair and Pam Kargas visited Martin and Mary Ann Hathcock one day this week. Martin and Mary Ann stopped and visited Harold and Kay Hutchison Saturday afternoon.
Jim and Jo Hathcock were hosts for a birthday party to honor their granddaughter Jorie Lafferty on her birthday. Others attending were Martin and Mary Ann Hathcock, Josh and Liz Lafferty and Jorie’s brother, Jack, Brandon and Summar Hathcock, Dakota and Breanna, Jack and Peg Armstrong, Heath and Jennifer, Dink, Hayden and Heidi, Keith and Regina Lafferty and Josie Lafferty.
Visitors with Bessie Hall this week were Mae Cox, Edythe Applegate, J.C Hall, Lisa Johnson, Jewell Elliott, Carla Wilson and granddaughter, Ashley Elliott, who was on her way back to college at Boliver, Sunday night.
Gary and Stephanie Tackett Mishler spent the weekend in Branson, then came by and spent Sunday night with her grandparents, returning to their Carl Junction home early Monday morning. Harlin and Shirley Hutchison and Amy, Kim Clements and Morgan also visited the group on Sunday.
Others visiting during the week with Harold and Kay were Ben Denney, Evelyn Bryan, Martin and Mary Ann Hathcock and Maxine Lund.  Dylan Clements celebrated his 17th birthday on Oct. 15.
Jewell Elliott returned home Saturday after spending 2 weeks in the Nebraska  home of her daughter and son-in-law, while Bonita is recovering from surgery. Bonita’s husband, Floyd and his brother, Wade, brought Jewell to Peculiar, Mo. where Tom Elliott, James Elliott and Ashley Elliott met her and stopped in Bolivar to see Ashley’s apartment at college before coming on to Ava. Glad to report Bonita is doing quite well.  .
Ronnie Lansdown is recuperating from eye surgery and getting along well.
Myrl Cox’s visitors Sunday were Virgie Smith and Norma Bogart. Pat Lansdown was doing grocery shopping for her mother Tuesday.
Tom and Jewell Elliott attended a birthday party for Logan and MaKayla Elliott Sunday afternoon, along with many friends and family.
