We’ve spent a wonderful day quilting, visiting and working on our basement here at church. We had a nice visit with Sis. Marie Long this morning. Five of us went to her home and some stayed and quilted. Our pastor had a desire to have communion with Sis. Marie and we had a nice visit. Sis. Evelina Miller took her some zucchini bread and Sis. Shirley took her some pie. We had a time of prayer with her. She sure needs prayers and a touch from God in her body.
We had a wonderful Fourth Sunday Service at Oak Grove Church in Wasola Sunday afternoon with lots of great singing.
We enjoyed being there and their hospitality. We appreciate Bro. Hesterlee for driving the church bus. Next month the Fourth Sunday Singing will be here at Faith Rock so be prepared to come and enjoy everyone singing. Bro. Darrel and Sis. Betty Hesterlee visited in Bro. Loy and Jean Heinlein’s home Saturday and they were doing fairly well and very much miss being in church with us. Their daughter, Gayla, is still in need of prayer for her body. Sis. Betty appreciated the pastor appreciation gift from the Heinleins.
Sis. Dessie Miller went to revival with Bro. Bernie and Lena Hutchison at Vera Cruz, last night and enjoyed going with them.
We are going to have visitors this Saturday night, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. Bro. Stan and Sis. Marsha Collins and son, Daniel, are coming to preach and sing. We hope to have a full house. We will do our best to make you feel welcome.
Sis. Betty wanted to say they enjoyed having daughter, Patty Tingler, and sons for a nice visit.
Everyone is welcome to come to Faith Rock or call 683-2377 if you need a ride on the bus.
