Wednesday Bible study was led by Steve Wilkerson about “The Lord’s Prayer,” using scriptures Matthew 6:9-11.
Saturday evening Pastor Gary and Bevy hosted a chili-pot-luck supper and singing. Those attending were Connie Holloway, Wanda Cox, Don and Reba Nash, Art and Nancy Levan, Zelda Graham, Colleen Lakey, Ray and Leah Lee, Leon and Alice Hopper, Wayne and Donna Applequist and Don and Ruby Graham. It was an evening of good food and good fellowship.
Sunday morning we had 31 in attendance. A lot of sickness is going around in our area. Hope all is well soon. Linda Roberts led Sunday school from Jeremiah 24.
Birthday this week was Bro. Ray Lee.
Pastor Gary brought the morning message about “Halloween,” using scriptures Deut. 18:9-12, Eph. 6:12, Exo. 22:18 ans II Cor. 6:14-17.
Sunday evening Bevy Moore read a report about the “Removal of Bible Reading And Prayer in School” and the results of it.
Pastor Gary brought the evening message about “The Choice is Ours” using scripture John 3:16. We had one soul saved. Praise the Lord!
Special prayer requests go out for Bill Bolding, Don Graham, Wayne Applequist, Stormy Dodson, Becky Burton, Cindy Fitzgerald, James Coonce, Tammy Weyrauch, Rosie Barcus, Linda Donley, Loretta Ellis, the new converts, our country and our leaders.
Next Sunday afternoon we will be having a baptizing at 2:30. Sunday evening we will be having Mr. Gene Reasoner in concert. Everyone’s welcome and there’s no charge. A love offering will be taken.
