October 17 – Sunday school opening with singing. Bro. Jack Essary welcomed everyone to service. Prayer requests and praise reports were taken. We have many concerns with the lost, sick, bereaved, our nation and military.
Jack read Hebrews 6:13-20 for our devotion.
After a good Sunday school lesson, Sis. Tracy lead us in a song.
Testimonies were given by Jeff Shipley and Lorraina Mitchell.
Our praise worship began with a song. Melissa Harmon sang special music. Melissa and Hannah Morgan led the youth in singing.
Pastor Bill Austin brought the morning message. He spoke from Acts 9:5, Judges 5:6, 3:31; are you an unexpected source that could bring others to Christ.
After service several churches met at Caney Church where a bountiful meal was enjoyed. Afterwards several got on hay covered trailers and rode up the Glade Top, a beautiful day was had.
Bro. David Kennings brought a wonderful message from Matthew 5:37. We take God’s blessing for granted and don’t thank Him nearly enough.
Wonderful turnout, great time of food and fellowship. A real blessing, thanks to all that participated and helped in any way. Everyone is welcome.
