Bryant Heights

This fall weather is getting to me. I was looking out the windows watching the leaves falling one by one on the green grass with the fall flowers in full bright colors. It was chilly this morning when I went walking, but now at noon time the sun is thinking about coming out for the rest of the day.
Sunday was a beautiful day. It was short sleeve weather all day. For me it was a full day with early church, auxiliary and evening service. Pastor Don’s message reached out to everyone’s heart I do believe. He preached from James 5:7-11 on Count It All Joy. At the evening service we were all sorry to hear of the car action of Jim and Wilma Boyd that happened on their way home from the morning service. Wilma’s at Cox South and Jim is now home with many bruises. They are both very special to all at Seminole and our love and prayer are for them both.
The Cunninghams are on the road again. This week I hear they are in Arkansas in revival with a long time preacher friend.
Marise and I enjoyed a visit last Thursday afternoon from our friend, Amy, from the Brushyknob area. Amy was in Springfield to see her doctor. She came to visit with us while Penny went shopping.
Marise and I joined up with several ladies from our Sunday school class Thursday afternoon for lunch at Garden Café. This is a once a month affair.
No matter where you are, you’re never far from the love of God.
November 2 is election day, vote to make it count.
