Opening Sunday school Joe Lafferty read the 1st chapter of Psalms.
Lee Hampton taught our lesson in Matthew, chapter 21, Purification of the Temple. “My house shall be called the house of prayer, ye have made it a den of thieves.”
We had just a few people in attendance. I was glad when we had 7 or 8 young people. Thank the Lord there is still young people interested in serving the Lord.
We had questions and answers and have 7 more for next Sunday. It really helps to look up questions. It’s a good way to refresh your memory on things you forgot, which I do pretty good.
We took up the morning offering. Sue Sisco led the offering prayer, also Sue had a birthday and we sang happy birthday to her.
The young women, married and single sang.
We had congregational singing. Then Joe Lafferty took over the service and preached on I Corinthians 15:20 on the Resurrection of the Dead and the Coming of the Lord. He also led in prayer.
This Sunday was Fourth Sunday Singing at Oak Grove Church in Wasola. We had a very good crowd.
Area Fifth Sunday Night Singing will be at Red Bank Church at 7:00 p.m. Thank you Lord for good singing. Please come and join us, you will receive a blessing.
God bless.
