Black Oak Church

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the day approaching. Hebrews 10:25.
Brother Roy Frye opened Sunday school with prayer by Brother Marvin Graham after singing the good hymns. He read Hebrews 6:13-20 for the devotion.
Brother Kerry Lafferty took up the offering and Preston Adams, Sierra Graham and Hunter Graham did the penny march for Camp Piland.
Remember all the sick, unsaved, sister churches, our country, leaders and military in your prayers.
Happy Birthday to Drew Adams, Roy Frye and Pete Turley this month.
We were happy to have Brother Marvin Graham preach for us. He preached from Ephesians, chapter 6, in the morning worship.
We are in a constant war with Satan and must be suited up with the whole armor of God. We cannot win without it.
The evening message was from Acts 3:1-11, 4:8-12, and 3:19. The lame man was outside the gate needing help. Peter and John gave him Jesus and healing. Don’t stay outside the gate too long, because Jesus is coming back and we don’t know when. Being a Christian is such a privilege and we take it for granted, God is so good and worthy to be worshipped and praised. He did a wonderful job for the Lord.
We are so thankful for all our visitors. We missed Rick and Hunter and Louise.
Our Fall Festival is Saturday, Oct. 23 at 5 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
Remember Bible Study Wednesday at 6 p.m.
May God bless you always.
