Go and tell Jesus on me – if my faults and my failures you see. If you’re my brother (or sister) then don’t tell another. Just go and tell Jesus on me. Brother Nolan Turner used to sing that song and it has stayed with me. Good words to live by. He was a very nice man.
We sure missed our song leader, Sister Shirley Riley and our piano player, Sister Betty Satterfield Sunday, but Brother Kerry did a good job filling in. He said he really missed them. We missed Lois too.
Brother Roy Frye read Jeremiah 10:6-10 for the devotion. Pastor David prayed then Brother Roy dismissed us to class.
We sang happy birthday to Brother Roy then we sang again to Drew Adams and Hunter Adams.
We had a long prayer list. God knows all about you all. Our prayers are with you.
Brother Kerry took up the offering and Hunter, Preston and Austin did the penny march for Camp Piland.
The children studied about Bartholomew in Sunday school and children’s church. Specials were done by Hunter, Preston and Pastor David.
Pastor David preached from Matthew 17:14-21. We should have faith and trust God in everything. Don’t wait till something happens to pray and fast. We should be prayed up and prepared everyday for anything.
On Sunday evening we worshipped in song. Those doing specials were Kerry and Dana Lafferty, Cheyenne and Jacki, Brother Joe Lafferty, his wife and daughter, Susie, Pastor David and then everyone sang one to close with. We appreciate all who came.
Remember Wednesday night Bible study at 6:00.
May God bless you always.
