Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center recently held a costume contets for their residents and staff. Winners of the contest were, from left: Peggy Jenkins, first place (witch), Mindy Stout, second place (tropical depression), Angie Wilkerson, third place (butterfly princess), Christy Davis, honorable mention (pirate), and Tanya Cutibirth and Sharon Karcher, honorable mention (Egyptions). Judges for the contest were Judy Shields (Ava Area Chamber of Commerce), Geneva McCullogh (Ava Family Funderal Home, and Whitney Keith (Douglas County Herald).
