The fall Ava Victory Academy soccer season come to a close with a game on Oct. 16.
The Ava Victory Academy Crusaders suffered from low participation numbers this fall but ended the season on a good note.
In previous games the Crusaders played with the number of players that they had, but on Oct. 16 they mixed things up a bit.

Ava Victory Academy soccer finished its season last Saturday. Standing in back, from left: Caleb McElvain, Hunter Scoville, Nathan Verploeg, Jamison Verploeg, Charlie Thompson, Lee Schmidt, and Coach Jon Doane. In front are: Jaki Breland, Justin Doane, Ben McElvain, and Sawyer Breland. Tyler LeClear and Joshua LaTour are not pictured.
Mountain View and Mountain Grove were both missing players so a few players from Mountain View and Ava joined the Mountain Grove team and the remaining Mountain View members joined the Crusaders to create a team with subs, something that the Crusaders had not had this season.
The Crusader/Mountain View team proved to be a good combination, winning the game by two points over Mountain Grove.
The game took on a whole different atmosphere with players on other teams heckling their usual team members.
The game was more enjoyable and less intense, a great way to end the season.
