On this 20th Sunday after Pentecost we started our service with the Bible readings. They are as follows: 2 Kings 5:1-3, 7-15c Psalm 111; and the New Testament, 2 Timothy 2:8-15.
Our lector was Laura Wittorff.
Pastor Wayne Strohschein’s sermon was on the Gospel Luke 17:11 – 19. God is active in our everyday life; we must open our lives to him.”
In this season of Pentecost, God has come near to us and we have to make choices. And we must listen
to God when he speaks to us.”
Sunday, Jim Norman will speak to us about Gideons International, how it helps and what it does on the world. At Trinity Lutheran Church everyone is welcome.
Trinity Lutheran Church received a letter of acknowledgement, that we left the ELCA and joined the NALC. Reverend Paul Spring offering his assistance anyway he can as we go forward with the NALC.
Reverend Spring was voted Bishop for NALC.
Monday at 5 p.m. the Sunshine Singers will meet at the church.
Naomi’s Circle will meet for Bible study and a meeting at 9:30 a.m.
Worship and Music committee will meet at Trinity Lutheran Church at 1 p.m.
There will be no game night this Friday evening.

Communion is the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month and potluck luncheons are on the 1st and 3rd Sundays after the service.
