No rain this week. It is getting awful dry again. The leaves are getting pretty now. This time of year is so beautiful.
Tony and I were in town Friday. He had some business to do and I grocery shopped.
Cody and Braxton Richards visited me on Sunday. Braxton is in preschool now. He said he liked it. He is growing tall now. He will be five years old November 18. Cody also had a birthday the 11th of October. How time passes us by so fast.
My sympathy to all that have lost loved ones. My prayers are for the military. I hope they return home safe.
The trees are really getting pretty. It looks like they will be just right for the Glade Top Trail this year.
H.O.P.E. Puppet Ministry was in Rogersville last Sunday. They did the morning service at a church.
Goodhope General Baptist Church was at the Heart of the Ozarks nursing home last Sunday. It is always good to see how much these old people enjoy the singing and having the word of God. I visited with my sister-in-law, Peggy Jenkins and with Ethyl Posey. Goodhope was her home church for years.
Plainview School girls were in Mark Twain Tuesday night and Skyline Thursday night. They are undefeated so far this year. They will be playing in Thornfield tournament this week Oct. 11-22nd. Dick and I stopped by to check on Helen Dobbins one day last week. She is doing good, but still not getting out except to see the doctor.
We went to the Stained Glass Theatre with Danny and Teresa Davis and Duane Davis and Roxanna. Friday night, we saw the Wayfaring Stranger. It was very good. I would encourage anyone to see it. They have about nine different plays a year. We were celebrating Duane’s birthday, I’ll not say which one.
