Rainbow Ridge News

Jean Daugherty visited with her nephew, Billy Fletcher, Saturday and Sunday afternoons. They went out for breakfast, Monday morning.
Norma Stillings visited at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center a couple of times last week and went to Rocky Ridge at Mansfield, Friday, to play the piano and visit residents there. The residents like the old songs best. They request songs like, “The Old Rugged Cross,” “Rock of Ages,” and “Amazing Grace.” It is a joy to hear them sing along.
Debra Bohnstedt of Springfield visited in the home of Norma Stillings, Thursday. They went to the Ladies Bible Study at Bethany Baptist Church early in the day. Debra went along when Norma took Bobbye Priddy and Neva Barner to the Health Department, later on. Debra went to the yard sale there. Thursday afternoon was dedicated to cutting off and hemming curtains for the south windows in the sunroom.
Norma attended a meeting of the Hospice Compassus Volunteers, Monday afternoon in the Church of Christ Fellowship Hall. There was an in-service on personality types and how that should be considered in the interaction of patient and volunteer.
