We had a glorious day in the Lord this last Sunday. The morning message was “Preaching Christ,” from the text in Acts 8:5, when Philip went to Samaria and as it says, “preached Christ to them.” His emphasis, should be “our” emphasis. We need to always remember, our goal is to give Christ to the world.
Our evening service was a good time in the Lord as well, the message being, “Serving Our Generation,” from the text: Acts 13:16. Where we are reminded of David’s service to his Generation, before he, “fell asleep.” We will all “fall asleep” one day. Until then the record of our lives is written in how we serve our generation.
Our Women’s Prayer Group plans to meet on Oct. 13 at 6:30 p.m. and Bible study will follow at 7:00. Everyone is welcome to join us.
Of course we would love to have you come and be with us Sunday morning, Sunday school starts at 10 a.m. and worship service at 11 a.m.
