Happy Home Church

We had another beautiful day in the Lord and the weather was great also. Bro. Paul filled in for Bro. Marshall. He greeted all with a great good morning. There were many prayer requests made for the sick, the lost, our families, our friends, our church and church family. I would like to name them all, but I don’t want to leave anyone out. God knows each and everyone that was mentioned and that is what counts. Bro. Dallas led in prayer.
We sang a good hymn for the Lord. Our leader for Sunday school was Sister Alice and she read from St. John, chapter 21, the last chapter in the book. It has been a good book to study, which we started in June of 2009. We had a lot of class discussion. We decided to begin with the book of Acts next Sunday.
Our morning service began with singing some good old hymns. We had some specials and Bro. Paul read scripture from the book of Exodus, chapter 12 and led in prayer. God gave him a good message for us. We closed with a song and prayer.
The evening service began with the prayer circle and again with many prayer requests. Sister Ulla led in prayer. We sang for the Lord. We had specials from several. Bro. Paul read scripture from Hebrews, chapter 2 and gave us a great message from the Lord. We dismissed with prayer.
Our Fall Revival will begin Monday night, November 1 at 7 p.m. with Bro. Jim Ragsdale speaking each night. We will have special music each night. Bring your songs and instruments. We will make a joyful noise unto the Lord and be blessed.
Our Saturday night singing is coming up Oct. 23 at 7 p.m. We will have a chili feed at 5:00 p.m. Come and join in the fellowship throughout the evening. Remember to bring your songs and instruments. I can feel a blessing already. Have a great week and God bless.
