Rod Welker prayed the opening prayer for our Sunday morning service.
We were very blessed to have Bro. Bob Huskey sing a couple of special songs at church Sunday morning.
Bro. David Welch was our speaker again in this Sunday’s service and his message was from Acts 3:1-16, the story about the young man being lame all of his life and was carried daily to the gate. Peter and John had no doubt when they prayed and touched him, he arose, received his strength and walked, running and praising God.
The Bible tells us, without faith we can’t please God. Faith will take us a long way, if God is on our side, we can’t lose.
Our Sunday night service was opened with congregational singing and some good testimonies were given, God is so good to us.
Bro. David brought the message from Matthew 7:13-14, Straight is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction. Sin will take you farther than you want to go and cost you more than you want to pay. We need to follow in Jesus’ footsteps. The road is already paved with the blood of Jesus. Is your name written in the Lamb’s book of life?
Our appreciation goes out to the workers for cleanup day at church last Saturday. They were Harley and Josh Allen, Jessie Taylor, Riley Hall, Doug, Shelia, Charlie, Glenda and Dylan Miller, Rod and Joey Welker. Glenda Miller surprised them with a big birthday cake honoring Doug Miller’s birthday.

Joyce Wilson and Mitzi Jeffery from Branson and Mae Brock from Shell Knob, MO. They also visited with Brother Rolla Swofford. They spent time in Branson shopping.
