“Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh,” Matthew 25:13.
Brother Roy opened Sunday school with prayer request and prayer by Pastor David after congregational singing led by Sister Shirley accompanied by Sister Betty on the piano. Brother Roy then read the devotion from I Chronicles 22:7-13 and dismissed us to classes.
Our prayer requests include Gene Pool, Wanda Goss and her son, Betty and family, Louise and family, Rick and family, Virginia and family, the bereaved, lost souls, sister churches, our country and leaders, and the military. We had a praise from Dana for her dad’s improved health.
We were thankful for our visitors. Megan took up the offering and Preston and Hunter did the penny march for Camp Piland.
Specials were done by Jacki, Hunter, Preston and Pastor David.
Pastor David’s preached from Matthew 25:1-13 in the morning worship to “Be ready!” In the evening worship he preached from I Thess. 5:8-23. We should be serious about our relationship with God and the responsibility that come with it. We need to fix anything that is keeping us from having a close relationship with Him. There is so much help in these verses. I hope you will read them. A very good message.
We had good testimonies and specials from Kerry and Dana and from Pastor David.
We’re still in Revelations chapter 2 in Wednesday night Bible study at 6:00.
We will be having a hayride and fellowship Oct. 23 at 5 p.m. Everyone welcome.
