Last week’s news: We had nineteen people weigh in, with a total weight-loss of eighteen lbs. Two people stayed the same weight. Audrey was high-loser.
Heather received a charm for walking 100 miles. Vince received two charms for walking 200 miles. Audrey’s name was drawn from those losing weight after the Labor Day holiday and she received a charm. Evelyn W. received $10.00 for being high-loser for the month of August. Congratulations to these folks!
Sharon presented the program with an article entitled, “Are Plastics Safe?” which discussed the importance of knowledge and safety in the use and care of various kinds of plastic food and beverage containers with relation to our long-term health.
T.O.P.S. (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) is an international weight-loss support group open to anyone seven years of age or older. The #0720 chapter meets every Tuesday afternoon in the courthouse basement.
