T.O.P.S.

This week we had twenty people weigh in with a total weight-loss of sixteen and 3/4 lbs. Five people stayed the same weight. Evelyn E. was high-loser.
Vince received a charm for being a K.O.P.S. for two years, and Audrey received a charm for being a K.O.P.S. for nine years. K.O.P.S. (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly) are those in T.O.P.S. who have reached and maintained their weight-loss goal, and they are a huge inspiration to those of us who are still on the journey to our goals. Congratulations to these two folks!
Margaret’s name was drawn to receive free dues for the month of October. Delores, Linda and Rachel received charms for walking 100 miles each. Audrey, Delores and Sharon received perfect attendance charms for the last three-month quarter. Heather received her bracelet and first charm for her first ten-pound loss. Vince received $5.00 for having high points for the quarter, and Evelyn E. received $10.00 for being high-loser for the month of September. Congratulations to all these folks!
Sharon presented the program with an article from T.O.P.S. Magazine entitled, “Shake the Salt”, an article about reading labels and watching our sodium intake to stay healthy.
We discussed plans for the semi-annual garage sale, which we will hold October 7th and 8th in Rainbow Ridge.
