Rome Items

We had a heavy frost here this morning. The ground was white.
Tony Richards took me to Ava Friday and I did some shopping.
Cody Richards saw his first bear in the wild Monday evening. He had started home from work. It came out of the woods and ran down the highway.  It was a large one. He had seen its track a few days before.
Charlie Hampton and Tony and Cody Richards went gigging one night for suckers. They got a few. Tony cooked them Saturday evening for them.
God bless our military and bring our boys home safe.
My sympathy to all that have lost loved ones.
Georgia Sanders and cousin, Margie Forman from Oklahoma drove up to see their aunt, Cotton Smith, in a nursing home in Springfield Monday. They spent the night with Norma Cross. On Tuesday Pauline Richards along with Georgia and Margie and Norma met their aunt, Vi Twibble, at Shoney’s in Ozark for lunch. They went back to Oklahoma Tuesday afternoon. Thursday Dick and Pauline picked Norma up in Ozark and they went up to see Cotton. She is very weak. Her daughter, Renee St. John, will be taking her home in Ozark where they have set up hospice care for her.
DeAnn Thompson attended a medical conference Thursday through Saturday in Branson. Friday after school Kelly took Kinsey, Kailey and Kyle to join her that evening. They returned home Saturday evening.
We went up and took in the school carnival at Plainview. There sure were a lot of people there. I got a good chocolate cake in the cake walk. I didn’t stay for the crowning of the King and Queen.
