A frosty good morning to all our readers. We hope everyone had a safe and happy weekend. I sure have enjoyed the cooler weather. Some have turned their heat on to knock the chill out.
It soon will be time for Halloween, so keep in mind the little children who will be running here and there, going in all directions. Lets make that day a great time for them.
We send get-well wishes to all the sick, the ones in the hospitals and the nursing homes.
Our sympathy to all who have lost loved ones. May God bless you in your time of sorrow. Our thoughts are with you.
This news from the desk of Lois Graham. Mrs. Brenda Garrison of Thornfield and Gina Tompkins and daughter, Alyssa, of Oklahoma visited Lois Thursday evening.
This news from the desk of Fae Pruett. Fae visited Sunday at the farm of Evelyn Witchey. Also visiting with Evelyn was Harold and Ilene Easley of Fordland and Dean Easley and his friend of Mansfield.
Norma Jones spent Sunday afternoon in the home of Kim and Jerry Lee Watkins. Other visitors were Jan and Ray Nute. The afternoon was spent visiting and hearing about Kim and Jerry’s trip to Memphis, Tennessee. It seems as if they had a great time and are ready to go again. It is good to visit with friends and neighbors.
We say happy birthday to all the ones who have a birthday at this time. May you have a great day with many more to come.
If you have news, just let us know. Have a good week and remember Jesus loves you.
